Finally managed to actually use up a chunk of my points and secured J reward seats on every leg of a trip with China Airlines during peak season to Japan (late March to mid April 24). Absolutely wild luck I swear. Did it a little round about but works well for us. For a grand total of 233,300...

My fiancee works for Apple and when we do staff purchases through the Apple site, we've been able to get the points using the browser extension.

Didn't have a chance to jump onboard unfortunately, had a bunch of staff issues that left me working 7 days a week trying to stop my business collapsing. Wouldn't have been able to afford the charges. Even then when I was looking there was next to nothing available.

I was even looking to late January/early February as I want to go snow again and travel with some friends. Might just have to see what I can score if I check regularly.

Oooooh, I got a new error! This time while trying to search for multi city flights, despite being logged in, it wanted me to sign in to search reward flights. Then it 500'd, and returning to the home page I'm now signed out. Quality, Qantas style.

I stopped doing the whole thing a while back because I earn 40-60K points a month just through the business amex and can't do anything with the damned things. Every survey just got to be the same old tedium and took so long to do each time.

Good luck finding any rewards seats though. I've tried searching for any return to Japan and it's either economy with Jetstar or the occasional Qantas, or nothing.
