    another thing worth remembering is that $1000/month or so means a return of only ~$120 in points per year. you'd make more by buying one coffee per week less and not paying an annual fee for a rewards card.

    well, if you're doing a lot of overseas spending, you're wasting enormous amounts of money in forex fees using this card. Bankwest Platinum Qantas has no forex fees and 1QFF:$1.

    It's Citibank, it's always a personal decision of "is this product worth the time they'll make me waste". For most things, no, but for this and Citibank Plus, it's a pretty convincing case.

    note that the max initial limit for Select is $30k, which you'll go through 17 times in a month. even at the max limit ($100k), that's 5 charge/bpay cycles. maybe citibank will go above for $100k for super big spenders with flawless payment histories? ps don't forget to see if they'll waive...

    nope, no guests, you'll be charged $27 for even the first one. as would anyone, of course, but it seems unlikely - it's their only "premium" card left. perhaps in a few years when it's been supplanted with a Visa Infinite card or something.
