I used the Plaza lounge last October. Actually spent about 9 hours there. Excellent, invigorating shower. Easily arranged and I expect they would priorities short stay visitors, especially if you advised them ahead of time. Would need to weigh up if a shower alone is worth $50.

I have avoided paying by POLI in the past because it seemed so convoluted. Thought I would take the plunge tonight, using my IPad and discovered the credit card fee refund option. I thought it was jolly decent of VA. The only thing better would have been for the Blues to win tonight!

East has an outdoor pool of a decent size. I think it had a bit of a view but nothing great. Requesting higher level rooms with an harbour view is most worthwhile. Would gladly stay there again.

Have you ever tried claiming on insurance that covers playing a sport e.g what's included in your teams's registration? They make it close to impossible to make a claim for anything less than many hundreds of dollars. Flashware, I think you need to weigh up whether the £ and time cost is worn it.

Anyone know why QF825 DRW-BNE was met by 5 ambulances on the tarmac and the airport fire fighters this afternoon? Pax seemed to be held on board for about 15 minutes before leaving via the aero bridge. Paramedics used the stairs at the back of the plane. I had to leave to catch my flight.

Mmmmmm. DST stuffs things up a bit I think. QF2307 is scheduled into BNE today at 1855. It should have sufficient MCT for QF557 at 1925, even if it meant a speedy walk through security and the terminal. Thumbs down to QF big time today.
