Yes, can confirm what Cosi has reported. Have flown out of BNE on CX at midnight and the TRS desk was staffed by a very happy and friendly fellow. A suggestion, check the online map beforehand as it was a little bit tucked away when I have used it.

I seem to recall an earlier thread which specified that locations of transits are not of interest to travel insurers. You don't have to consider them in your planning/costing. A quick phone call to TID might save you unnecessary expenditure.

Being such a big snake surprised it didn't get detected on the preflight walk around. I wonder if it hampered the normal functioning of the flaps etc. At what stage of the flight did it get detected? No immediate return to CNS? Did the return flight depart on time?

If this is the one operated by the Plaza Hotel, i found it fine. Excellent showers, reasonable selection of food, massage available. No wndows. Comfy lounges. Quiet areas. Spent about 8 hours there with some long walks out in te terminal.
