Thats cos its called Paywave lol. I called up last night, took me about 3 calls to actually get through to them and not get hung up on. I asked for my cards to be replaced because of paywave, and she was like what? we don't offer paywave on our Visas, I'm like what? look at your own website...

definitely go for the Gold. Like an idiot, I paid (through my employer (WoAG Corporate Scheme)) for 4 years of QP membership, and I've been WP ever since that year, don't plan to stop until I hit Lifetime Gold haha. But def go for Gold, platinum is a bit harder if you're not flying in Premium...

Does this mean that the lounge at TBIT is excluded as well and the Platinum Desk advised me incorrectly? Does this mean you can use it for the lounge at T4, but not at TBIT?

I already changed my Qantas Ultimate Card to the Platinum Edge, I was so keen at one point to get the Platinum charge, but now it seems like I'd rather stick to my Citibusiness Gold and make enough money (120k lol), to get a Citi Select!

I'd like someone else's opinion on this, but I asked the Platinum Desk and they said you can use it. (EDIT x 2, Let me clarify, Platinum Desk said you can use it at TBIT but I didn't ask about T4)

apart from losing my awesome large bathroom on the J Deck, I see no reason why this isn't a good thing for Qantas passengers, moreso the Y passengers than anyone. Interested in seeing a proper seat map on the QF website, to see whether there is another large bathroom somewhere on the flight...

Ah, I called up Citibank and advised that I've been looking at other cards etc and snagged myself 2 bonus pts per $ for a total of 3.25pts per $ lol. But with all the suggestions of earth/etc/wwedr, I don't see any reason to get these over the CB Gold.

I can't believe no-one has recommended the citibusiness Gold. Best qff earning card in Australia that isn't Amex, 1.25pts per $. Annual fee is $149, halved ATM to 72.50
