what I find really interesting, is that my Citibusiness Gold is definitely over my points cap, yet I am still earning a lot of points. (fine with me, if it was capped I'd probably leave them for another bank) or change up to a Citi Select.

I was just thinking about it, Can you get them to match an ASA? From the T&Cs it seems like you can, so even if you don't have enough points in your account, you can match the ASA which it will quote you without enough points. (And a Classic can also be shown as an ASA.
