Interesting, I'm hoping that this is the case, then some FASA Status runs on EK from SYD-AKL will be in order, :)

Yes, QF is still 1:1, KF And Velocity changed for a week, and have been changed back now, probably pissed off too many loyal customers. So All is business as usual :)

CB Rewards Platinum 2:1 VA, SQ KF / VA now [was 15K:10K]

Interestingly enough, someone called me from Citibank, and advised that the 2:1 which I transferred at last week was an "issue with their system", and therefore they credited the points back to me :) Great to see that the Citibusiness Gold keeps the 1.5:1

Discussion/Q&A on Best QF Status Run Options

How do you book this? As CBR-xSYD-ADL and then ADL-PER? Not sure how you get it at 108k return

CB Rewards Platinum 2:1 VA, SQ KF / VA now [was 15K:10K]

Hmm, I did a transfer last night, for 50000 KF Points, and it showed 75000 on the redemption, then I logged in and it shows that it has taken 100,000. Consider yourself lucky, As I have a Citibusiness Gold, I think its time to transfer them all to QF.

CB Rewards Platinum 2:1 VA, SQ KF / VA now [was 15K:10K]

hmm, i presume qantas on the citibusiness gold is still 1:1? I can do 1.5:1 still in the app, thinking of doing it, but have no use currently for SQ/Velocity points. (and SQ expire) hm,

Why won't PAX turn off their mobiles when instructed

Quoting directly from your link ( Inflight Communications | Qantas ) Portable electronic equipment such as laptop computers (including WiFi and Bluetooth enabled devices), PDAs (without mobile phones), personal music (for example, iPods) iPads, Ebooks and electronic game devices may be used...

Why won't PAX turn off their mobiles when instructed

last year, on the QF a380, I was able to use Facetime mid-flight, to show my dad the A380 (which he'd never seen the inside of before). It was quite clear and smooth. I was speaking quietly, using a noise cancelling headset, and was in the business class lounge at the front of the plane for...

Why won't PAX turn off their mobiles when instructed

inb4sh!tstorm Mobile Phones do not affect aircraft, or their navigation systems when in Flight Mode. This is because their radio equipment has been switched off. WiFi and Bluetooth are allowed on Qantas/etc A380s and B747s, and if this is the case, there is no reason why they shouldn't be...

RE: Best big guy's seat allocations ...Us big guys need some lovin'

I've never heard of this comfort seat concept, I am 6ft9in tall and around 180kg, and I always book Business or First (have made platinum with personal flying only), cos economy is just hell. Even being in an exit row, i get the trolley bashing into my shoulder every time they come past, left a...

Intredasting, I was in Perth earlier this week, but ended up finding a spot upstairs. I didn't think there'd be a bar, etc, hence we didn't bother going down. Might check it out next time.

Qantas Cash - combined frequent flyer and travel money card

This is really interesting. Will reloads/expenditure/balances have any incentives by means of QFF points? Also, will reloads be allowed from Credit Cards (through BPAY)?

    Qantas-Emirate partnership gives me headaches.

Thats all I can say really. A lot of people have had their flights changed, some that suit them better, some that suit them less. At the end of the day, QF is there to get you from your source to your destination with the least amount of disruption. There are lots of benefits to the QF-EK...

    JASA cash upgrade to FASA

I tried this, but it only has Business listed there, (I have a booking with mum, dad and myself going CBR-SYD-LAX). Maybe its because the CBR-SYD Leg exists in the booking, not sure
