First flight in F to LAX!

hmm, yeah no-one had a First Host meet them at LAX when my mum and I flew F in January. Is this a service that all First customers are entitled to though? Is it just the First Hosts slacking off? :P

First flight in F to LAX!

Haha, yeah, is the First Host VIP Transfer available for anyone flying in First, any WPs flying in First, or only full fee paying first passengers? (My flights next year will most probably be classic awards). It was worth an ask, If they reject my request, then I wouldn't feel offended or anything

First flight in F to LAX!

Oh Z.A, if you could pm me that email address, that'd be awesome. I'm planning a trip with mum,dad and I to LA in F after our last family holiday which was almost 20 years ago. My dad was trying to weasel out of it because he hates LAX with regards to customs etc, so this would make it 10x...

    buying points tp upgrade?

Yeah, its only if you have a Citibusiness Gold, you could do the transfer on demand. Otherwise its a long wait. The Top Up points with QF may not work because they have to be in relation to an award I think.

    buying points tp upgrade?

well, it really depends how many points per $ you get with your card, and which bank. As long as you preload your card with the cash (don't use credit) its not against paypal rules because you're not technically cash advancing (which is against the T&Cs). Paypal is getting their hefty 2.4%...

    buying points tp upgrade?

Its very expensive to do it this way, Frequent Flyer - Using Points - Top-up Points Its much cheaper to Paypal a friend a gift of $5000 from a QFF earning credit card, get the 5000 points and you get charged 2.4%, (As long as your friend gives you the money back of course) :P But that also...

Need help with USA trip + Expert Flyer

hmm, ok, By A9 and I9, you mean that there has to be availability of 9 in either class A or I right? (i.e A9 is not a weird version of A Class)? I'll have a look at Expertflyer tonight and see whats what.

Hi Serfty, thanks for the reply. Are P and U required so that Qantas can release Classic Awards for WPs? (Or is that a different class?)

Need help with USA trip + Expert Flyer

Hi all, I am planning a trip to the USA, which includes SFO as my first destination (from CBR), and then returning to CBR from LAX. Basically what I'm after is a Classic Award in First or Business, (Business preferably, so that I can price match with Citibank Price Match Guarantee, and earn...

    Citibank Price Match Guarantee

So do you actually have to have a booking with Qantas and then cancel it? As I want to go in First to SFO through LAX, from Syd. I was thinking about going in J on SQ A380, but going through Sin-Narita-LAX, Which is a very long flight and therefore, I'm thinking I don't know whether to try...

A great deal for an existing CitiBank cardholder...

Omg, I called Citibank last night saying that I was weighing up my options, because I already have an Amex qf ultimate and the cb gold is not as many points. She put me on hold, and then said she can waive the annual fee. I was like look is there any bonus points option? As I don't mind the...

I always choose 16, prefer the windows. I've done 1A, 4E and pretty much every seat in 16. Being 6ft9in tall I love top deck row 16

I was just thinking about something, what happens if you have a Citibusiness Gold Alongside a Citi Select/Signature enrolled in CitiRewards. Is there any way that the Citi Select/Signature points would credit towards your CB-Gold Citirewards account and therefore still be able to transfer to QFF?
