I cannot sleep on planes, even on 14.5 hours to DXB on EK J ... I did eventually fall asleep about 6 hours in, after two zzz-quil and probably 3 glasses of champagne... that was 1-1.5 hours at best. I'm too jumpy a flyer, I look over at people who are asleep at take-off or just after and am full...

CX from DXB is $1900. You can book those exact QF/EK flights online for $4500 or on their websites for around $5k I get a feeling the service person I was speaking to was a bit shocked... She did some typing made a very soft gasp, said "oh, let me double check this"... then before she said...

I don't think taking away worker's rights is some kind magic bullet to fix Qantas' problems. As was mentioned before, while Joyce has had a difficult job to do, I don't think that's an excuse for the terrible calls he's made.

Additional - I noticed that flight status and EF are giving different numbers, and the seat maps for the flights might be misleading?

It's a decent hotel and for early-morning international flights cannot be beat ... but I have two quibbles, if you don't know Sydney Airport, it would be a bit of a maze to try and find the entrance... and the COMPLETELY open bathrooms are very strange.
