I was on 480SC and Silver and took 2 flights (15SC+30SC). when they posted the points a day later it showed me at 525SC with 45SC/400SC towards maintaining gold. not entirely sure what happened, I suspect I was randomly bumped up to Gold after the flights but before the points were posted.

Just booked a decent Status Run on Jetstar, using the current return for free sale which has some pretty great deals with SC earn rates in the range of 4-5$/SC Booked PER-DPS-SYD-PER for $239 base fare +$385 for the Max Bundles. For a total of $624 for 150SC Obviously a lot of cons around...
