From what I have been shown its just very similar to what you can edit in your FF profile...window seat preference, first name, certain allergies etc. They always know when I am about to connect back to NZ or further afield which is handy, but doenst seem to ahve the depth of many CRM systems...

Alberto, cabin manager on QF756 ADL-SYD yesterday. Great sense of humour which made all the announcements fun, took the time to really read everyone's boarding pass as he welcomed us on board, and gave me particular service as a platinum flyer. Lovely guy and a credit to Qantas.

Thanks for the epic reply! Yeah work pays PE and I've had way better food, service and seats on the NZ 777s and 787 than Qantas PE. NZ PE is fine for long haul and you're right I wouldnt have to worry as much about upgrades and points on QF to get into J. I'm also over the Sydney lounges...

Just became APAC sales manager and find myself now rethinking putting all my flying through Qantas. Was previously mainly focused on OZ, now find myself looking at a lot more travel to APAC and based in NZ. Just hit Platinum with Qantas though so feels a bit mad to now try get the same with Air...

Usually when i transfer international I just go through security, present no ID or BP and i'm up the escaltor into International Departures within a few minutes. So I was thinking just go up as normal, head into F lounge, then leave terminal via passport and customs, grab qantas transfer bus...

But I have never once been asked to show my next boarding pass when going through here?

Am I crazy to even bother with this.... If I get into Syd from Wlg at 17:40, can I head upstairs via the international transfer security section, spend an hour in the F lounge to celebrate turning WP, then head back out and catch the Qantas transfer bus to dom terminal in time to make QF538's...
