As was mentioned in the comments in the Oz on this subject, this safety rep completed a 5 day course with no examination on completion, but which enabled him to ground an aircraft. And Qantas was considered to have committed a criminal offence. As always, two sides to every story…

Agree somewhat, but this particular flight has had the same problem on a number of occasions from memory...

Agree with the debit cards, but we were basically forced to obtain CCs in 2017 when doing a fair bit of O/S travel when we could only hire a car using a CC. We could pre-book the car with the debit card, but on pick-up, the CC was needed.

It was our recently departed Premier who decided that it should go to Optus, else it would have been called Perth Stadium....

According to the blurb on the Optus Stadium website, Coldplay are the most popular band in the world. Optus Stadium seats 60K+ fans. Therefore one would need to know this well in advance to get any sort of seat….

Looks like Coldplay are performing at Optus Stadium on the 18th and 19th....
