totally agree sarlatcycles! But I am now thinking that silver and up is actually now working fine - ie. the new ASAs are what QF want to charge regardless whether the redemption inventory is available or not...the bronze is still with the old system and will be "fixed" to the new higher rate...

Hi N'oz - maybe that 'fix' is now for the bronze members...could be the Silvers and up are now fixed...:o

Now I'm getting worried...could it be that it's just that they haven't got round to "enhancing" the Bronze status members to show the higher rate ASAs??? So that's the actual glitch which once fixed will bring it into line??

Noticed there is now an extra column called "Business Saver" on a SYD-MEL domestic - but still quoting 64K odd points...this is when logged in as Plat Under Gold it only shows Business at 78K Under Bronze it only shows Business at 22K all done for extactly same day and flight... :-(

So it looks like Silver status works... I'm Plat - still no joy... Also Gold status - same thing... Any Chairman's Lounge out there?? can you test it?

Wow - this is definitely status related. I tried SYD-MEL under my account which is Plat - JASA 78K logged out and used by brother in law - just Bronze - did same search JASA 22K What is going on???

still not fixed from what i see - SYD/MEL JASA 79K points from the usual 20K - there is U class seats on flights I checked...

Sadly, this looks like a permanent change...ASAs are no longer coming up at the cheaper rate when the corresponding classic award class is available...Looking at LON-SIN in Business it still shows the 2 fare columns Business Saver (with U class being available) and Business but at over 600K...

you beat me to it Mille!!! Just booked a JASA SYD/MEL for 21K which is about right... There could be a slight increase from 03MAY once QF puts in their 3rd fuel surcharge hike... Great news!!!

The service centre is processing J Classic awards only at no extra charge - however if you want ASA it quoting the massive amounts...not the usual...
