Were there actual sockets or just blanks? I had sockets on a 738 Per-Syd a couple of weeks ago and the power was working fine.

I'm surprised the scales were set the same! I guess it is a limit, just like a speed limit of 100kph doesn't mean you are allowed to drive at 101kph (or 100.00000001 for that matter). Maybe 32kg is a hard limit for OH&S reasons, so there is no leniency compared to when VA's limit was 23kg.

I was told in the BNE lounge that if you request it 3hrs beforehand then they could do it for you.

Learn something new everyday on here. They do a great job of providing service for a company they are contracted to. Who would have thought someone working for Aerocare doing work for VA and Skywest would give better service than QF staff.

Everything in life is dangerous, the more you wrap kids up in cotton wool the worse it is for everyone. The funny thing is that not consuming peanuts is a contributing factor to peanut allergies, so if you stop kids eating peanuts it's going to make the situation worse in years to come.
