Agreed. Domestically SG's and WP's are treated largely the same. The new J lounges are nothing to write home about in my opinion and last week were busier than the regular QC at 3-4pm. Internationally the Flounge is well worth it IMO if a regular user and the obvious access to points upgrades...

Paying that extra $10 for the earlier flight from OOL may have alleviated all this... ;)

Had no issues getting into the F lounge @ Gate 10 T4. Then boarded @ Gate 1 and realised there were more lounges. From experiences - which would you rather spend an hour or so in as a WP?

Same thing happened the next day. I was on QF32 LHR-SYD and used points to upgrade from Y to W+. Approx 12hrs prior to departure I noticed points were out of account. Turned up to LHR a bit happier than usual. Told no W+. There were seats in J but couldn't find a CSM who cared to discuss using...

The J lounge is an excellent addition. I noticed 12-18months ago that the dom QC's were getting rediculously overcrowded. In some instances (you know the times/locations) I think there were more people inside the pub than in the terminal. It provides a seperate atmosphere for those who want...
