I keep getting spend $160 x 4 or $170 x 4 for 10k. For months I've tried activating all offers. Buying a couple of cheap things. Never even tried to make the spend. But they keep sending me offers with ridiculous amounts to spend. Oh well. Time to get a few new accounts.

Yep that's my experience too. One way international fares are much more expensive than 1/2 of the return price. I usually fly J SQ rewards to Australia (due to availability) and Y QF rewards return. The price of a one way revenue ticket either way is crazy.

I prefer to pay $10 in fees and taxes for a SQ J redemption rather than $200 for a QF Y redemption. QFF is easier to get gold than KF but the costs of using QFF points are nearly as usurious as BA.
