QF93 is now showing a 24 hour delay. I've moved my booking from Sunday's QF94 to route via SYD (QF12). I didn't receive any messages from Qantas about the delay either

It looks like a lot of their international city pair pages are broken since the work experience kid's last upgrade, e.g. LAX to MEL / SYD / BNE. They are only showing the dates where the lowest price may apply.

I certainly hope they are scheduled, seeing as I'm booked on QF75 in the last week of July! QF76 is flying from 30th June to 28th July, three days a week (Mo/Th/Sa).

Quick report from the new Lounge. First surprise is that it's a "quiet lounge", i.e. they are not announcing flights, even QF10. Today it is overloaded with nervous staff, obviously a mix of newbies and experienced hands. Everyone is very anxious to please. Probably only 40 customers at 9:30am...

Is that for real? It's further out than Qantas is currently selling. $4,600 for J ATH-LHR-PER-BNE return is suspiciously amazing considering PE for just PER-LHR return prices at $5,060+ for any dates in April :confused:

This was a cancellation affecting 100% of QF's departures that morning, so clearly hundreds of pax due to fly QF11 to JFK. Does anyone know of other travellers on 22 March and how they were treated?

Sale finishes today. Using OLTA you can get the price down under $400 for MEL-ADL, even MEL-CBR which is a rarity. Looks like it's fully refundable too!

Put in the minimum bid for SYD-MEL ($115, 3000pts) early last week. Rejected. When I boarded Economy was about 70% full on its way to near 100%, but the Business Class section had two pax, ten spare seats. Interesting.

If it were under seven hours, I wouldn't bother because you lose 3-4 of them in transit etc. Dubai Connect in J or F is a very nice hotel, but really you're just using it for the bed. In your case would say yes, but take your change of clothes in your carry-on because it's a much bigger hassle...
