Can you skip first flight of 2 flights ?

Subject to fare rules and time limits, Qantas will allow you to drop an earlier segment, but under the Conditions of Carriage you need to inform them of your intention beforehand. I assume the segment gets marked in the system somehow.

Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program. I find the 2 traveller requirement the (relatively) easy bit. It's getting the 20,000 Pending points that is the problem - requires more nipping around the country side than I can achieve!

    New VA Fare Structure

The document on the second link states it in a sentence at the bottom of the page. The thing is, to be able to sell services on those flights, they need to have fares and fare rules for them. This document is just saying they have these fares - not that they are available on every flight.

QF changes my flight and annoys me in the process

I would suggest feedback to QF outlining the issue that arised. It sounds very much to me as there is a problem in their married segment logic, shich has thrown up a suboptimal result (The fact that different things can be seen when using the PNR versus a general search suggests married segment...

Qantas to change credit card surcharge from flat fee to percentage

Cash aside, Qantas do offer fee free options when paying online. BPay and Poli are two. These would be cheaper for Qantas than paying by credit card

When to expect to lowering of GBP transactions

I suspect it is just an issue with Visa in the way it sets rates. There is basically a bit of a lag, especially over weekends, as rates are generally set for the next business day (although I am not sure of the exact time they are set). So a change should come through in due course.

QF SCs on partner airline codeshares?

The opposite situation is to be found in the earning tables, and it is not as people are stating here. Have a look (https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/flying/airline-earning#ba). If you look at another airline, (say Iberia), you will see the text Note that the limitation on codeshare flights is...

Rear Door Boarding/Disembarking at All Ports

I wonder what it says when Jetstar and Virgin passengers can cope with rear stairs, but it seems all too hard for Qantas passengers.

    Mini-Bar vs Fridge

Citibank ATMs can often be found in 7-11s. Citi also has a fee free agreement with MoneyPass, but I've never tried to see if that extends to the Australian issued cards.

Lower Bank interchange fees to 'enhance' credit card earn rates

Re: Interchange regulation will lower Visa and MasterCard Points Earn in 2016 Why is it an extermely poor argument? Why should yoy get rewards for making a payment through the use of a premium product?

SYD-DFW really cheap, SYD-CBR really expensive.

Interline, by definition, requires two different carriers. It is meaningless to talk about interlining from QF to QF.

    The totally off-topic thread

Synchronised lights are not what you want. Co-ordinated lights are (mind you, systems like SCATS can be used to co-ordinate you to get red lights!)

    Oneworld separate ticket interline changes

'Through check-in' is the technically correct terminolgy. In airline agreements, an 'interline journey' exists only when there is a single ticket. When people on this board talk abount interlining theire bags, they are really talking about 'through check' of their bags, not interlining...

Qantas Business Class meals & menus

    New Amex statement credits

Maybe, but you asserted that BP was more expensive than Coles Where I live that is not the case, and Coles has been 5 or 6 cents higher than BP in my area. There's a reason the ACCC are watching the price of petrol at Coles....Coles' petrol pricing under ACCC scrutiny
