Indeed. It's come to the point where I plan my trips to take me to airports I haven't been to yet. That's why I've been checking Google and other maps. My friends think I'm a dork, but what do they know. :lol: Eight days and counting (PER–DXB–LHR–ZAG–LIS–ZAG–VIE–LHR–DXB–PER). :mrgreen:

Very interesting. I love going through airport maps as well. I always grab them at airport and study them, which makes me look like I'm a lot tourist, but I don't really care. ;) Flying to four airports I've never been to in the next five weeks – exciting!

Oh, I just noticed the shadow about 300 m to the west of the top plane. A mate of mine who lives close by LHR is giving it a closer look, because I'm not that familiar with it. He's very excited. ;)

It looks like the two planes in my post are the same plane. Do you think yours is the same, too? And I would've expected shadows to appear somewhere...

Honestly, I don't even think I tried. It was lunch time in all three occasions and people were lined up behind me, so I just paid cash / used another card. I just went to the ATM and punched in my PIN code as instructed, so I'll try paying for something later on.

I use my Qantas Cash card for small payments (lunch, coffee etc) pretty much every day. The PayPass function stopped working last week, and I've tried a couple of different locations. I rang up Qantas Cash and was told that the transactions have indeed been registered as declined, but no...

I wanted to pay for lounge access in DXB through a website, so they asked me what flight I'm leaving on. I told them it was QF9, but they said they can only see that flight as MEL–DXB, but not DXB–LHR. Yeah, FlightAware will probably not have all the right information. My Booking shows QF9...

Hi, serfty. I've got the booking already. As I said, it's not a big deal, but it's just not showing properly in a couple of spots (e.g. Qantas Link, Tamworth etc. on FlightAware), which makes it weird to track.

Re: Qantas has new schedule between Dubai and London Given that my flight has been changed seven times so far, I'm really glad I'm flying before the 21st and I'll avoid another change. Or at least I hope so.

Hi, This flight is shown as MEL-LHR, but the DXB-LHR leg alone is not recognised. I'm only flying DXB-LHR and I'm having issues with the flight being identified (lounge access, FlightAware etc). I'm trying to book lounge access in DXB, check the flight route etc., but it's just not working...

I just got this email. No expiry date AFAIK. I'm not sure if it's only available when applying online (as linked in the email) or a phone application counts as well. I was advised by a Bankwest agent to apply over the phone rather than online, so I'm not sure if it's in relation to this...

Yeah, that's a good way to go. I'm landing at 1 PM, chilling out at the hotel and heading up at 5. The plan is to go out for dinner after dark, which will hopefully be possible...
