    Worse than feet on bulkheads

I'm not sure instruction on the correct etiquette pertaining to the occupancy of a bulkhead and/or reclining seat on an airliner is part of the upbringing of a typical child. In fact I would say accepted norms of behavior are rather subjective in general. I would think it is up to the airline to...

LHR layover 8 hours. Can we leave the airport?

Save yourself the trouble of trekking into central London - it'll be a horribly stressful experience after a long haul flight. Instead meet halfway somewhere nice and only a short tube ride away, Richmond down by the riverside, the National Trust property at Osterley Park, Chiswick. I'm sure...

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

The advice on page five of this thread is correct, I would refer you to that since it that is how my account was configured and I received the points without a hitch.

Single Aisle Planes across the Atlantic

I flew a 757 NYC - LHR on a red eye in Y a few years back, Continental as I recall. It was bl00dy terrible, but its hard to distinguish how much of the horror was down to the aircraft and how much of it was down to the airline being Continental. To put it in context, the journey over on the same...

Amex 18 month eligibility period on

Hi All, My Amex Ultimate card is up for fee renewal in the next few weeks, so I'm planning to cancel it. Sad as its earned me over 160k points in its year of operation, but I'm not paying the $400 fee again without a bonus. I've referred my partner instead to pick up a couple of extra bonuses...

    Worse than feet on bulkheads

Last flight back from LHR - MEL for me in Y I felt something tickling my side, I instinctively grabbed it - hard. It was the foot of the girl behind me. Needless to say she didn't do it again.

Which cards have you applied for this year (2016)?

Wow - I really need to bend my back a bit more. Only two this year - 60k with NAB and 70k with Citi. Added to that I'm waiting on the 60k referral bonus from my partners Amex ultimate. Can't wait to see DrRalph's work for the year!

Woolworths backflips - QF points are coming back

I'd sacrifice all the potential reward points in the world if I could only shop at Waitrose. My kingdom for a decent supermarket.

8hr stopover LHR - advice re what to do with luggage and shopping opportunities

If you're only after a shopping centre, Westfield Shepherds Bush would save you the extended trek into the city. Get the Picadilly line to Hammersmith and change there for white city. Of course I'd probably recommend something more culturally pleasant than subjecting yourself to such a place...

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

Received the bonus points the first statement after hitting the spend criteria. Overall a good experience with Citi for me, ten minutes on the phone to set things up a worthy investment for a return of 70k points. My only disappointment is that they have applied the fee to my account on the day...

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

Phone them up - I had the same issue. A quick phone call and a couple of further questions resulted in my receiving an approval text message that evening.

    NAB Qantas Rewards Premium Card

A warning to those with this card. I note that this month I was charged $51 of interest, despite always paying the balance in full each month. Upon querying it with NAB I was informed that charges were incurred on my card before the statement was issued that did not appear on my statement...

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

Keep waiting! I have been actively spending on my card for nearly two weeks with no sign of a fee being added to the account. I can see my QFF details are loaded into the Rewards program section correctly, so I remain unworried. In fact I am hoping I will be able to record 3k of spend ASAP...

Qantas American Express Ultimate Card: 80000 Bonus Qantas Points

Thanks Fairbasa - afraid I'm already a user of the card. Coming up for anniversary so don't want to pay the fee again without a new sign on bonus - so this works really nicely.

Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing customers)

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome Hi Ralph, I'm curious - I recall you have had a number of ANZ cards in the past. My experience with them is I had to attend a branch to identify myself and activate the cards - did you have to undertake this...

Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing customers)

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome Earn rate is low and there is capping of 3,750 points per statement period - so not one to keep. I'm disappointed by the offer on the black card, I've been waiting for an offer so I can replace my NAB...
