I nearly got excited with the 2010 but alas, I will leave it to others. What is interesting were all the variations of Reschke Cabernets in the 2010 vintage, which was good. Wines valued at $120 together with others at $20, like the Vitulus. Chuck in the Bos, this RSR and others too. This shows...

Look forward to reviews as it's a ripper price and a good, honest winery. I am hoping it's up there as one of the best for those purchasers here. The Fo had the same wine but different vintage obviously in 2016 and as you would expect, similar reviews by the pros. The part I liked was 'the wine...

Lets be honest. You can't really go wrong with any sticky at the tail end of the night. But I hope it overdelivers like all our wines. Hec, might even taste like a premium four bucker.

I was on the checkout screen waiting to see what freight might be but the thought of all the other reds under the house have restrained me at the last possible chance. Did anyone here buy and try any of their others??

I am sure the intention was that Driftwood are a damn good winery as two punters posted. Pedigree is a great thing in a winery generally. More on that here. I went searching the net last night and their 2019 Single site Chardy looks da goods. But at late thirtees, too much for me and i have...

The Fo return policy is their marketing genius. I remember speaking with them on a vary rare phone call and inquired how many cases I had bought and how many I had returnded. I never went for the second bottle in a dozen trial. If the first wasn't any good, the second wasn't either. This may...

The standard marketing hype that's all....the RRP's for the not so well known ones are an enticement, an entrapment, a temptation, call it what you like and if it hooks you sailor, then come in spinner. And just like Rex Hunt used to do, give one a kiss and return them back to the ocean of wine...

I have only ever had one Meshach a few years ago. WINE of the year that year for me. Their shadrach was average. Mine might have been the 2009 shiraz. Incredible wine.

Wine writers like car salesman are usually more diplomatic than truthful. Obviously this wine is good enough but it's not seamless. Reminds me if bib big ones like Anvers in that huge thick heavy bottle. Just too nearly under a teenagers years. Many other wines in 2016 are going to be stunners...

Wine writers can say a lot with one word. AndrewGraham is my favourite. But many good ones are out there. Reading between the lines the JH review infers it is not in its good drinking range relative to the price. It seems to pre warn to lower your expectations. Maybe in five years time it...

Now, this being the essendon jumper's red slashed wine, how did you land it for a fiver...this wine, the 1980 or 1981 vintage is in my top tens ever. Used to buy it at Coles for $1.99,and back then, a mate and I drove to about 6 stores and cleaned them out. It was instrumental in me loving the...

Might have to start an eight bucks or less best quality bottle contest....the winner would certainly come from a grays on line, but seeing how this is the DM thread it will not count.

The so The sour taste lingers longer when you are disapponted going from 90 to 35 than from 45 to 20 however the Fo returns policy is supurb. Dru Reschke is a man of his word. Just enjoying that recent Fo pre arrival shiraz, 12 in a buy, 2018 from heathcote. This is a good wine, worth every cent of its $16 ask, but i would be happy paying $26 a bot. Funny that, i also am having a 2010 Zema Estate Cabernet. Beautiful wine indeed. Paid cash at dannys for this one. But i...
