I have flown through a lot of small US airports that don’t have pre-check lines. They give me a laminated plastic card I hold and that allows me to go through with shoes on etc.

For any early birds tomorrow the SYD Flounge is open from 0430 due to the 14 hour delay on today’s QF1.

Wouldn’t want to be too late with that departure. Otherwise risking hitting LHR curfew at other end.

It’s operating today’s very delayed QF1 departing 0630 tomorrow. Not sure what the backup plan is if it doesn’t make curfew.

You don’t need to call. There is an online form to fill out to say you are having difficultly getting through and request a call back. You will need to be logged into the site to get to this page I think.

QF won’t have charged you anything to your credit card. I’d be keeping quiet as with any luck you will end up earning points and status credits on that booking now 😉
