Sorry to bump an old thread but Looking at a DONE 4 ex-JNB with a 767 flight Honolulu-Sydney in April 2015. Any ideas what jet I am likely to end up on? What is the 767 business seat like? How does it compare to say a domestic business, or an international premium economy which I've previously used?

Stayed at the Four points by Sheraton Times Square in 2011/12. Was only $300/night for 5 nights compared to $450+ elsewhere nearby. Is about 2 blocks walk away so easy to get to and not obstructed on the night. Nice little hotel.

I immediately discounted AA for its reputation. Could have made a world cup trip affordable but wasn't willing to break the QF cross Pacific route. Luckily I didn't make that choice and just abandoned trip. QF will have a bonanza now. Would Emirates perhaps see an opportunity?

That's the same one I got. Managed to book at about 10pm on the 10th. Was a very tight booking period but I can hardly complain. Very early in the membership year.

It's also the weight of carrying a third meal and multiple refreshments as well I imagine.
