I've been watching this thread with some interest only to discover that I've been ripped off of points/SC's for a LAX-MEL flight I took a couple of months ago. Now the most annoying part of all this is that I rang and was told the change would be on the board within 15 minutes and now 1 week...

It is a scary thought. I think I might know a few QF lurkers that monitor this site but I do everything I can not to be too identifiable. The only problem is with that discussion where we identified what we do in life but I think I was fairly neutral with regards to my personal details.

It looks like they were wrong in the article where they stated at the bottom of the article that the Centurion Card was so exclusive you couldn't even get it here. Oh, I just noticed that the article was dated Oct 2002. :oops:

I believe it's conveniently forgotten that it was the Australian Govt. via CASA that shut AN down. ANZ realised it couldn't run a company like AN from across the Tasman and they also tried to mold in its own image - it was never going to work.

Maybe you just edit the original and delete the whole paragraph. Replace it with an explanation stating something like "Edited to delete double posting". Haven't tried it but that's what I would try.
