I hate to state it with so many of those QF staff lurkers around but I just lap up the perks the FF card gives me. Unfortunately some perks have disappeared with the customs line not having a FC/BC/FF line anymore but I really do enjoy the idea of being a gold member for life & the QP goodies...

Makes you wonder if it's a case of a lower cost airline not getting the maintenance it deserves. Ansett/VB/QF all have & had excellent maintenance engineer support but Jet* have decided to do it on the cheap. That thought alone is enough to keep me well away from the airline. :(
