    I will miss the 717 also, the most fun jet ride in Australia - the takeoffs! But the A220s are also great to fly, albeit less like a rocket ship taking off.

    Qantas have exercised 4 more options, increasing the E190 fleet to 30 to arrive by end of the year through the partially owned Alliance Airlines group. Is there a list somewhere on this forum of all E190 routes? I see they’ve popped up on some of my old 717 route bookings like: BNE-LST

    Agree and also the quality of Ubers and cabs in AKL is dire like take your live into your own hands! Ok I won’t take this thread OT anymore doesn’t sound like many frequent business travellers that use airport transfers on thi thread, all good! Back to the Hokey Pokey icecream :)

    Ah no… still under restrictions from previous work anyway! Very happy to not be on this particular merry go round 😜 Whoever gets to work on this one, will be interesting that’s for sure, especially given the personalities of the players involved 😂 I do feel very sorry for the staff impacted.

    Interesting comments from the government… I wonder given their regional operations whether help will come - if required. I doubt the jet service would be supported, but regional ops potentially yes….
