Mel IME depends on the gate. The gates down the end like 11 and 12 are not set out well. Last week there were two MEL SYDs boarding next to each other within a couple of mins and was definitely chaotic The other gates have worked well.

I treat my FF balance a little similar to my Super. I want to build and retain a decent balance as I may not be P1 for the next 34 years until retirement and it scares me that I’ll stop work funded travel without a decent balance.

Sure was, didn’t realise how close to retirement they were. Must admit I did monitor the outbound as I know they’re prone to mechanical issues. The crew was very very young as used to mainline QF but only small differences like use of name consistently etc.

Had a decent Lamb shank on HBA-MEL Monday then an ok pork noodle dish this evening on Mel syd (other option a chicken ceasar which also didn’t look great)
