I would dearly like to know just what that means. Hope to see your post when you hear. Anything re reduced surcharges & greater acceptance would be music to my ears.

    AMEX not accepted or surcharge

But around Adelaide Shell is usually 10c but up to 25c dearer than most servos. I have a card to get 10c per litre off but still their diesel is too dear when compared with WW 4c off.

    AMEX not accepted or surcharge

I find that in South Australia there are many (too many) retailers that either won't accept Amex or charge a fee of 2-3.5% for it's use. I either tend to avoid those places or use my Visa card but Online it can often be much simpler as by using Pay Pal one can choose what card to use and still...

Inside Passage cruise with Holland America

Have booked a Holland America Inside Passage cruise in June 2017 (1st ever cruise). Is there anything we should be aware of to get the most of this cruise? And what is the best way to access internet on board? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Take away food from lounge

Is the lounge an advertised 'Take away' facility or not seems to be the answer to this question. Obviously if a lounge becomes a take away facility then they are going to have to cater for significantly more food than otherwise SO the patrons will have to pay more in the long term - and does it...

    Amex Platinum Reserve card

I have an Amex Platinum Reserve card which is supposed to give me one access to a Virgin Lounge each year but so far over the past few years Virgin have denied me access every time I present. I guess I should just fly Qantas for which I do have lounge access but why won't Virgin give me the...

So is QFF points chasing worthwhile?

I like to save my points for a 'rainy day' one where the cost is inflated due to School holidays or Easter/Christmas. I think they are good value but have never used them to upgrade. I always check the cost of flights I need then compare the points needed and decide then. There are many ways to...

Online checkin with Virgin is too difficult

Can someone advise why it is so extremely difficult to make an online check in with Virgin. My flight on Thursday 15th October 2015 at 12.05pm was confirmed a month ago but this afternoon I have spent 2 hours trying to check in on my IPad and have spent half an hour also on the phone to Virgin...

    On board entertainment

:?::?: Why is it that Virgin can have an inflight entertainment facility that enables passengers to log in on an IPad or laptop through a specific Virgin App and enjoy free entertainment that I have not heard mentioned, even as a future possibility, from Qantas. Why is Qantas often behind the...

Appropriate Behaviour in the QF Lounges

Gross, these people need an education after they are removed from the lounge. It is as bad as people with more food in front of them than they can ever eat and with kids running amuck annoying everyone.

    Introduction

I am a FF who joined Qantas in about 1990. I now enjoy posting in the FF Community and reading the opinions and responses of others there. I do not use Twitter or Facebook as I believe these to be a place where people (particularly young people) like to tell the world about themselves (who...
