The transfer rate between Citi Rewards and Avios is 3 to 1 versus the transfer rate of 2 to 1 for Velocity. Considering most Qatar flights can be booked with Velocity points, is Velocity an option here too? Although I suppose the base number of points is higher on Velocity.

Nice, but I assume these are actually business class flights that Qatar markets as first class. The true Qatar first class is only available on their A380 and ex Cathay 777s. Still gets Al Safwa access which is a nice bonus though 🙂
