Qantas "Classic Rewards Business" ... is it effectively "non-existent" nowadays ?

I'm not sure how they are even remotely comparable. JL serves two Australian ports and releases 2x J; MH serves four Australian ports and releases 2x J. SQ serves seven Australian ports and releases 4-8x J; QR/VA serves five Australian ports and releases 2x J. SQ & QR also serve way more...

Qantas "Classic Rewards Business" ... is it effectively "non-existent" nowadays ?

AY don't fly to Australia, so you'll need to combine with someone else to make it a one-stop route to Europe, as the OP is looking for.

Qantas "Classic Rewards Business" ... is it effectively "non-existent" nowadays ?

What I'm hinting at is that CI have stopped releasing 2x seats on most flights to EU & US. MH & JL are the only clockwork partners on QF atm.

Qantas "Classic Rewards Business" ... is it effectively "non-existent" nowadays ?

Where are they providing 2 Jx award tickets from TPE to Europe (not Australia to TPE) like clockwork?

Qantas "Classic Rewards Business" ... is it effectively "non-existent" nowadays ?

None of them provide one-stop J tickets to Europe for 2x passengers like clockwork to QFF points holders except for JL.

Qantas "Classic Rewards Business" ... is it effectively "non-existent" nowadays ?

The days of getting those types of seats (classic award 2x J to Europe) on simple itineraries (1 stop) are pretty much over. You need to switch to Velocity/Singapore for that. See the latest AFF podcast for details.

Qantas double status credits: Register & book between 12-18 March 2025

Each year Qantas updates the T&Cs. Each year Qantas updates next to nothing on the backend. Some day that will change, but I have my suspicions that day is not today.

Qantas Classic Reward & Upgrade Devaluation on 5 August 2025

What one hopes and what in fact will occur are likely to be very far apart in this instance. From an individual perspective, the most optimal move is to lock in as many classic rewards seats as one's balance will allow before the deval, especially when the next DSC comes up and that cherry is...

Credit Card Offers Citi Premier Sign-Up Bonus Offers & Discussion

They've significantly slowed the flow of approvals. It used to be possible to get a new Citi card once per month (cycle Premier/Prestige/Rewards). It was the biggest gravy train in churning. That's no longer the case.

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

It's always interesting to read posts that assume Qantas Loyalty is bullet proof and keeps going from strength to strength. It's particularly interesting when only a page earlier I spelt out that every key metric is currently going backwards. YOY points accumulation growth is down, points...

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

Would you pay 3% for nothing? The point of my post was that people will stop earning if there is nothing worth redeeming. The question is whether CR+ is worth redeeming and, therefore, worth earning in the first place. Not sure what is the relevance of the rest of the post. Sure, not everyone...

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

The problem for Qantas isn't really any of the above. The problem for Qantas is that, if this pool of unredeemed points keeps growing because people cannot redeem their points for something they want, these people will eventually stop accumulating them, especially where there is an additional...
