Had a very tender and perfectly medium rare steak on a recent flight to CGK. Hands down the best steak I've ever eaten in the air, beating QR, CX, BA J and even EK F. With more of sear I reckon it could've even passed on the ground. Hopefully not a once-off fluke by QF catering.

You raise some good points - inconsistency of service, food, priority boarding ETC. However, I feel like some things are exaggerated, not managed by QF or not actually benefits. On departure upgrades for International are not an advertised benefit. I doubt it's an unofficial benefit either...

Can anyone even access the F lounge if traveling on the Bangkok Airways or China Eastern code? The flight doesn't have F, and OW status wouldn't help here would it? Therefore I'd think the last two flights in that column don't need to be there.

Married segment issue. Your itinerary is available as a CDG - MEL with only specific connections and not individually. Therefore when you try and change the second flight, the first is no longer available.

Aren't the A220's a direct replacement for the 717's though? There's currently no IFE screens on those jet's, so nothing is changing. Different story if the A321's also have no IFE screens though.

I always take seatguru measurements with a grain of salt these days. The way airlines measure distances can be inconsistent - example here, though this is measuring economy seats. IMHO having experienced CX herringbone on A350, 777 and A330, I'd prefer the CX seat over the JAL one...
