Carbon passports to target air travel?

They want to ban meat as well. But of course they are dining out on some great sounding meat dishes. Yum! COP28/UAE SWAGGERS Food Truck/Cart Formulator of Best Selling 'Traditionally Cooked Smoked Briskets, Smoked Ribs and our Smoked Wagyu Burgers. Our Style of Cooking gives unique taste and...

    QR Economy Seats

"Barely enough width" sounds like the QR B777s at 3-4-3 (the same as EK and EY). QR's A380s are pretty comfortable I've found, and basically the same as EK and SQ A380s.

Latest information about 28 degrees card

I hardly think that is the case. They have an algorithm that detects fraudulent transactions and sometimes there are false positives which are annoying and inconvenient. I am fine with this as it will more often than not pick up the true positives. I would entirely expect that, for example...

Virgin Australia to Reconfigure 737 Fleet - Spend $110M

At least there appears to be provision for a screen/divider, given the design of the row 2 seat backs.

Is this really true? What would you do?

Choose a different airline for the return. Better AND cheaper options out there.

Carbon passports to target air travel?

As noted earlier, it's not about the environment. Nuclear solves the environmental problem (if it exists) therefore nuclear is not attractive to activists.

Carbon passports to target air travel?

I'm pretty sure that my attitude (and your's also) one way or the other will not matter one jot to China, which continues to build massive coal-fired power stations. More than one being commissioned every single week and more than 300 in the pipeline. They are taking the West for mugs.

    AFR's Joe Aston goes BAM!

Well, to be fair, the "climate change" cult has never been about the environment , so Qantas and the IATA are as entitled as anyone to do their virtue signalling.

Carbon passports to target air travel?

Yes, to be fair, the "climate change" cult has never been about the environment but about power/control, so carbon passports are definitely on the cards.

    PER-AKL Trip Report

All four meals are Y standard on SQ or QR. Sad. And that SYDint J lounge, execrable.

Is this a legit website for Vietnam visa?

No. (To be precise, yeah, you'll probably get a legit visa, but it is effectively an agent who will charge you multiples of the official price, when you can just as easily apply direct via the official govt website and pay the official fee only.) https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt

Start with a very large pile of someone else's money.

    FA forgets to serve meal!

Seems like pretty decent service recovery to me. Can't complain about a complimentary bottle of wine. Of course, one can always visit the lounge on arrival for a top-up if one has status.

Is Citi Plus still the best option for overseas cash?

My ATM withdrawals in July 2023 were fee-free at the ATMs outside UOB's Interchange 21 branch (conveniently, Soi Cowboy is around the corner), but this was probably because that was a legacy Citi branch (still had some Citi signage). Presumably any old non-legacy-Citi UOB ATM would charge the...

Where to buy Foreign Currency in Australia?

Correction. It was not Goldten, it was Bloomforex, but I see that the shop in Sussex St is now closed, having walked past yesterday.
