    Flight crew too busy

Continuing from my previous post, one other exception. My only IB experience was 20 years ago, Madrid to Lima in economy. After a small meal, 8 or 10 hours later people are getting hungry and thirsty but the staff stayed in the galley and ignored all call button requests without fail. There was...

    Flight crew too busy

I do not understand the pride some take in not pressing the call button. Is it because what they are really trying tell you is that they always fly F or J? The Singapore Airlines flight attendant story doesn't surprise me, but for other airlines, as long as few others press the call button it...

    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

From the 6x points promotion up to $500? I received 3000 points on the 13th.

    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

But if you pay cash and it rounds down to zero, would it qualify?

Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

Yeah I just signed up for a second 12 month plan, plus one mobile and the Coles $7 a month deal. I prefer Coles but Woolies is now getting 3/4 of our duopoly business.

    Woolworths gift card thread

More futile trips to WW for me. I can never get these offers.

    Woolworths gift card thread

Just to be pedantic, these offers are extra money on the card. So 5% extra is actually a 4 76% discount which is not as good as the 5% discounts you can get on cards like Dan's.

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

Thanks for this. I had never really thought about getting gift cards from Qantas before. The extra 4 (or 4.25) ppd has to be weighed up against other offers (eg 4% off WW gift cards purchased through my mobile plan) of course, but when there is a no other offer, this is a no brainer. I wish I...

    I'm on a watchlist...

On domestic, who is ever asked to provide ID? Surely a dodgy character would use a false name. Or do they still hope to collect FF points?

    Coles gift card offers

$28000 in gift cards! What's your address? Nice little earn there. Given the choice (which is never given) I'd rather the 10% deal instead to save $2094.40.

    Coles gift card offers

Same here, especially since my local Coles and WW never have any high value gift cards available when there are offers (when I visit).

    I'm on a watchlist...

My wife called a friend on the night (before I got home) who is a Senior Detective and it seems they had incorrectly linked me to this crook based on an unrelated police report I had lodged. He made sure that it was fixed. I was required to go to the police station to prove I wasn't the person...

    I'm on a watchlist...

It happened to me with Virgin and QF for 6 to 12 months years ago. I asked an agent once and was told that someone with the same name did something bad but I left it that. No one was unpleasant to me or anything. That same name caused a bunch of police to turn up at my place one evening to...

Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

I might do the same. I also get 10% once a month for my prepaid mobile but that is in store only, which is a bit of a pain. Plus 10% with Coles for $7 a month.

    Cutlery

    I hate those tiny cups!

    Cutlery

There was a thread that went along the lines of "seemingly trivial reasons you choose an airline". Surely this belongs there. If I was that bothered with the cutlery, I would pack my own rather than travel a longer route.. Before anyone says it would fail security screening, then I'd nick some...

Earn 5 Flybuys points per $1 at Kmart, Target, Bunnings & Officeworks with OnePass

Following up from my last post on this 362 days ago, I did cancel my plan after signing up and the benefits continued. I just received a 50% off offer today via email to renew. Done.

Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

My subscription ends Dec 29 but I have resubscribed at the discounted rate (to be charged Dec 29). I had already cancelled back in Jan (ie benefit continues to end of period paid for). So if I were you I would cancel and see if I receive the offer. I saw the offer when I logged in to my Rewards...

Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

I cancelled my subscription soon after signing up (at half price) last year. The benefits were due to expire on Dec 29. I didn't receive an offer in email but I just logged on and saw the offer there, so I have renewed and it shows I will be charged $35 again at the renewal time.
