Wouldn't surprise me. Now I need to pull mine out and check. Confirmed that it's Twisted Trunk. There a RRP $150 in todays email which I am told is also Glen Eldon - I assume Old Vines.

The 2006 Glen Eldon was good from memory but it would have been a fair while back that I had it. I think I have one in the cellar. I am trying to confirm via broker if this is actually the Glen Eldon, in which case I'll grab a case and try one along side the 2006 at some point in the near future.

Interesting observations. I presume this is the 2015 Trofeo? I had a bottle last night with my wife. We both liked it. I don't have TN's and I didn't study the wine at all but it wasn't acidic to my taste. Certainly not a big Pinot but it's not supposed to be - not thin IMO. At first it...

Frankly the Aust. wine scoring scene is a joke. Aust "critics" over state Aust wines in general and score by reputation as a matter of course. I much prefer a site like Cellar Tracker for honest opinion. It's varied as reviews should be given they are from the eyes of the beholder but its...

I bought the 2015 Tucks Ridge Pinot for 22.50. I've had one which was good (don't have TN's). The rest I will cellar. Good get at 22.50. I also shared a case of the Buckle but it was 2014. I haven't tried but I have tried an earlier vintage and recall that I liked it. I wouldn't pay $100...

Hi all, Love to get any feeddback from anyone who has had this wine. Vinomofo - Château Sixtine Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2016 - Red Wine I recently had a 2014 from the same region (different winery). 2016 vintage reports seem good for Sth Rhone. RR seems overstated but nothing new there. Thanks

Vinomofo - Black Market Pinot Noir 2015 - Red Wine Tucks Ridge if anyone is intersted. I haven't tried the wine but 2015 Mornington Peninsula Pinot is a pretty good vintage.

I've stayed away from the 2012. 89 from memory on WF. I generally like the wine but also dubious re 2012. No other reviews on line that I could find which is always a concern. Love to hear from anyone who's purchased and tried the 2012 from Fo or elsewhere.

Thanks. I presume their unreserved auction? If so, plus buyers commission @16.5 inc GST? Still a good price. Cheers

I saw your earlier post redbigot and given I have the remnants of a cold I won't disagree but I found it a bit hard going myself. May well just have been me on the day. My wife was happy enough with it but preferred her "cheap" french chardy. First world problems.

Seen some posts re packaging. I just received a case of Tempus Two sparkling and Tarras (The Canyon) Pinot Noir, both in winery boxes. I wasn't overly impressed with the Tarras. I wouldn't pay RRP based on the bottle I had last night.. Didn't have much nose and tasted a bit flat for a...

I haven't tried the current vintage of the Heathcote Estate - mine went straight to the cellar where it will sit for 3-5 years before I try one. I have tried a few previous vintages and never had a bad one. I recently had a 2006 ex Langtons which was very nice. At that price I had no hestitation.

Re: Vinomofo Wine Deals Love Nicks and they do seem to have a deal with Warrabila because they seem to have a good deal (bit under winery pricing) on each annual release but if you ever venture to Rutherglen as I do annually, get alone to the winery and give the range a try. I'm a big fan...

Do yourself a favour if you like big wines made with class. Warrabilla make very good wines and they are well priced v quality. Don't stop at the Zinfandel. The Parola's Durif is sensational. Actually the Parola's Shiraz & Cabernet are great as well.
