True, I remember being excited when I found a sale price in 2009 for ~$1400 on QF (but booked via LAN). I think the price was typically >$2k back then. For some reason I recall the QF service in Y was outstanding, possibly because we were served steak. Also direct to EZE and not SCL. Good times!

Reminds me of the old QFlink flights from CTL to BNE via RMA. Charleville didn't have security screening so pax were screened in Roma after already flying the first leg. Security theatre at it's finest.

Spot on JohnK, I am also not a fan of booking 12 months out. Given the current call centre shambles I just can't be stuffed risking booking partner awards if they may not be ticketed in time or incur changes/cancellations needing further call centre fun times. Too stressful and a big timewaster...

Has anyone tried their A321 J class? I would be travelling with my partner so not too worried about not having direct aisle access but of course would prefer their 1-2-1 A330. Shame they don't have a 1-1 config a la American domestic first class on the A321 :cool: .
