Good luck getting the points. I've spent this whole month trying to get a refund of points for an upgrade where the flight was subsequently cancelled and I was rebooked to later flight in economy. Utterly hopeless for something that should be so simple

Recently my on departure upgrade flight was cancelled and was rebooked into Y. Syd J Lounge said upgrade points would be refunded automatically. Of course they haven't been. Called the FF centre and asked for refund, told would happen within a few days. Still not done days later. Just pathetic...

The key here is EX AUSTRALIA. If you are gold though it should not matter if booked ex-Asia... should be free for standard seats.

But it does qualify as per the screen shot if booking does not go ahead it's forfeited. It's refundable as long as you proceed. It makes sense to me

It seems to me several people here are willing Rex to fail. Having a third airline on domestic is a good thing for so many reasons. The smart *** commentary by some on here is in my view pathetic.

Just flew in from OOL to MEL with a solid load of 144 (137 y, 7 j). Another pleasant experience. Don't think they're going to abandon the mel/syd route anytime soon but I suspect frequency could be adjusted when they announce whatever their next routes might be.

Had a nice flight with Rex, Mel-ool the other day with 119 in Y and 6 in J. Ran on time, had a coffee and some cookies on board. Pleasant crew. Nice experience. There is a large billboard promoting Rex outside the airport at OOL. Going back tonight on what looks like a fairly busy flight.

Just flew jq on syd Mel with at least 140 spare seats on an A321. Going up over the weekend there was lucky to be 40 on an A320. Mel-Syd seems to be tough atm

This seems more relevant now that QF are advertising aircraft type and seat pitch in the mobile and app booking engine when they display flight results.

Really have to say for a 2 hour lunch service this is dismal. A very cheap chicken salad and a piece of chocolate and a slice of bread. It is just so cheap and really it is BARELY better than economy. Why can't Qantas get this right??

It's actually getting ridiculous This seems to have just been completely missed by many or deliberately ignored. Sydney Melbourne Adelaide and Brisbane all have qf metal one stop to London with these new arrangements... Perth has direct or via Singapore. It's a win
