Hi, I am looking at Plat request reward seats Mel/Lhr/Mel departing Dec 14 or 15 and returning Jan 11 or 12 - either econ or premium - any advice on which flights to seek release (ie via Per or Sin or Syd etc).

Is anyone having issues with QF flights on EK not posting? I have 3 during Feb and one this month not posting as yet. A normal EK flight posted within 48 hours of travel (which was ticketed by EK).

made LTG a few weeks ago, no email but recall a congrats banner in my FF account - did get new card in the mail with 'LIFETIME' under the expiry date text (although the Qantas money card on the reverse does have expiry of 2030)

I am on JQ35 in a couple of weeks - still listed as 787. Got email today from Qantas 'flight has changed' - could not work out the change as date and time was still the same. Change was from JQ35 to JQ1035. Seat map is still showing 787. Flight is marked sold out on Jetstar website.

Has the J catering dropped in quality recently? I have had two J flights (one ex Dubai and one ex Mel) and most of the food was disappointing. Breakfast very unappealing, beef very tough and snack (risotto balls) basically inedible. Flip side, wine selection was good... Filled myself up on rye...

I tried that on the EK app, on entering the EK booking ref, the QF codeshares do not allow seat or meal selection. I will try my Qantas booking ref next time
