I don't understand why NSW is so desperate to get rid of masks on PT. To me, that seems like an outbreak prevention no-brainer.

There's no sandwiches because they would need to be made fresh. Nothing on that menu is fresh. That said, the prices don't seem any worse than last time I flew VA. I love those Moreish nuts. :)

One of the things the person bleating about this forgets is the level of fear in Vic relating to HQ. I think there's a lot of Melburnians (if asked) would prefer not to risk any arrivals here at all.

This is the thing that confounds me. We have Avalon airport. The planes can land RIGHT THERE and put the people right into their own cabins straight from the plane - or use golf carts or similar to transport them (open air style so they can't give covid to the drivers) to the cabins. People...

Yeah, those passes only get you into QP, and nothing when you are overseas (found that out the hard way). Next month I'll be flying J one way with QF (MEL-BNE) and return with VA (OOL-MEL), so I'll be able to report back about that.

Yeah I know. But I'm only going to QLD, the likelihood of losing the luggage isn't high and it's not like their aren't pharmacies up there where I can get a replacement for the prescription.

As this story unfolds, my best guess is that the esky fell over in the conveyor and the insulin fell out. Or all the contents did and the insulin was not returned with the rest. He should put a luggage strap around it in future to prevent this. And not just in airports. It is of interest to me...

Yeah, but my problem is the air escaping up my cheeks to fog up my glasses. I made ear savers myself (crochet - my coworkers loved them) and tried them, and it's not the answer for me. It's just another situation where "one size fits all" is a load of bs.
