What's the SC earn of the P1's who are getting Christmas presents? I've been P1 since it started and vaguely remember getting some wine the first year, certainly nothing this year or last. My last full membership year I racked up about 5400 SC, whilst this calendar year I'm at about 5000...

JohnK - I'm not sure if this correlates. I've been P1 since it started but noticed a drop in my op-up rate around the same time. I put this down to the changes that were made around points upgrades to allow them to be processed later (or something like that - I remember that there was a change...

As another data point I saw the iPad on QF7 recently - Interesting to me that there were no VIPs, no CLs and 12 P1. Didn't see the nimber of WP but I was surprised by the number of P1 on the flight (not sure why I was surprised - no science behind it).

You should be pleased - I think I've just demonstrated that there's a tier lower than you! Although how that makes me feel.....

...and those of us in the bottom tier of P1 got nothing (oh woe is me ;) )

Also remember that you'll earn fewer points on an EK flight number (to rub salt into the wound of no SCs)

The one downside I've found with the lounge at Hamed is the number of showers - it always seems to be busy. A tip for the men out there. If the usual showers are full I've been directed to the VIP (men only) area which is towards the downsairs restaurant. Much larger and nicer showers than in...

Has the 2400 SC level changed - it used to be any SC's counted, now it seems to imply that they have to be earnt on QF flight numbers??

5400 gone forever. Suspect this will be my last year of WP1 as I only managed 2800 on QF. All starts again today with a short BNE - PER leg.

Re: New LA QP Opens June 17 - AUSBT I was in there on 19th in the evening and the person in front of me was turned away with a Qantas complimentary lounge pass. Lounge was absolutely packed - standing room only.
