    Child with Qantas Gold Status

Im guessing the reason is that Lounges are licensed premises, and minors generally aren't allowed into bars without adult supervision.

    What cheeses me off

if i haven't heard of the burb it means it isn't anywhere near me, so useless information to me and not worthy of time to google. I buy my groceries within walking distance from my home or office. It's annoying no eggs available locally but not enough to spend a lot of time and money travelling...

    Earliest Qantas Haneda Check-In Time?

First QF flight of the day from Haneda is in the early am (HND-SYD, changing to HND-BNE later this year), not 9:05pm. Check in definitely closes after the AM flight, and then reopens much later for the evening flights.

No thanks, eggs should come in shells. I'd rather go without that eat who knows how old eggs de-shelled in a plastic bag.

Qantas surveying members about spend-based status attainment

The USA programs where status is tied heavily to ground spend don't get you domestic lounge access. If Qantas already manage lounge access quite well by put black out periods on CC passes during peak periods, and in dom lounges stocking cheap coffee (Vittoria), mostly low end wines, non premium...

    What cheeses me off

WCMO is solo dinners who occupy a table designed for 4-6; sitting for ages on a single coffee when there are a heap of 1-2 people tables free.

    What cheeses me off

WCMO is neither Woolies nor Coles or IGA had any eggs for sale today, shelves were bare. So means no healthy protein based breakfasts this week. WCMO more is having to traipse to 3 different supermarkets just to get staple food items. As well as no eggs, woolies had no blueberries, cabbage...

    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

IME in 2023 there were a heap of great offers in Dec in lead up to Xmas and in Jan. But 2024 virtually nothing for Xmas and so far in 2025 no genuine incentives to shop. Im not a fan of frozen food, i shop weekly for fresh food but being given unrealistic targets is meaningless. EDR needs to...

Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

5 pack of uncle Toby's inspired by Chokito muesli bars. I will probably donate to charity if they are there (there is a food donation bin out front), and that is a big if given last month's freebie was never in stock and as far as I can tell was never a stocked item at my local Woolies

    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

So after 2 weeks of 1400 points for $150 (which I didnt get anywhere close to), this weeks it is 1300 points for $150 so offer getting worse.

Infant booking on International Classic reward

You wish, Qantas child fares are more like 75% of adult fare in same class.

    Amsterdam on Two Months Notice

And if sitting on points and flying before the April school holidays (blackout periods) Id say chances of picking up award seats should be good, given its not high season and airlines seems to do more late releases of extra seats these days rather than predictable releases 11 months out as in past.

What's your prediction on the Australian Dollar?

No you don't get it, you misread/misunderstood my original post and basely stated I said things about total supply that the evidence shows i clearly did not. You are the one claiming expertise (although anyone can buy shares, ownership does automatically endow one with expertise), i made no...

    What cheeses me off

Nothing illegal happening whatsoever. The old home use program (where a home copy was free and for a single person/computer) had different terms. Home use was tied to (part of annual cost of) the employers ongoing license agreement which is why you needed a valid license key and you couldn't...

    What cheeses me off

Both PMBOK and Prince2 guidelines recommend Assumption Registers or Assumptions section in Program Management Plans, so in a work context calling them what they are is IME fine.

    What cheeses me off

My Microsoft 365 family just renewed with co-pilot for same price as past 2 years; however I purchased my original subscription with a discount link from a previous employer which is obviously still valid. Im cancelling my NYT subscription when it expires at the end of the month, AU$20 was...

A Boyhood Dream Fulfilled: Space-Geek Tour of the USA

FYI IME Lincoln Centre TKTS outlet is superior to Times Square location. TS location only sells discount tickets for same day; and wont sell evening performances until after sales for matinee have ended. Where as Lincoln Centre sells discount tickets for current days shows as well as the...

What's your prediction on the Australian Dollar?

No I realised exactly what I said when i said % of imports, the only person mentioning total US supply was you. The tariffs hurt Canada if as a result the US buy less from Canada, but that assumes alternative suppliers will be cheaper. If the US customers keep ordering from Canada the price...

    What cheeses me off

As someone who works on projects and contracts where the client hasn't always specified things adequately up front it is standard good practice to document any working assumptions needed to progress actions and the impacts if these assumptions fail to prove true. I'd rather see assumptions...
