Agree - last year, I requalified and waited six weeks with nothing popping up (which triggered the aforementioned manual intervention).

I did the offset a couple of hours ago for my last leaf, so will report back. (Last year, I got the last leaf and was informed I'd requalified but needed a manual intervention to get the 10k point reward after requalifying. This year, it's the 50SC as I'll fall over the line to SG with them. :))

Different programs have different availability, so Lifemiles may well have something Aeroplan or MileagePlus doesn't. But having said that, I've been burned with Lifemiles phantom availability so a degree of caution is warranted.

Like others, I booked EVA earlier this year through Lifemiles (AMS-BKK in my case). Was nice, but obviously availability for BKK-VIE depends when you're looking to fly.

I just got knocked back for an ANZ one too, and the salary sacrificing of super was a factor in reducing servicability (despite it being voluntary). Ho hum - will wait a few months for the enquiry recorded to be less of a factor and try again elsewhere...
