    AY baggage with OW status

That's saying that Finnair Plus Silver members get Oneworld Ruby benefits on other airlines. Nothing to do with Ruby level members of other Oneworld airlines getting the benefits their own Silver members do. Additional baggage isn't a listed benefit of Oneworld Ruby, it's just something Finnair...

    AY baggage with OW status

My reading is that by the rules, no extra baggage allowance is given for Oneworld Ruby. Whether a checkin agent gives it might be another matter, but I'd be working on the basis that you'll have to pay if Miss H wants to check in a bag. As for the email - it might be faster to tweet them at the...

    AY baggage with OW status

I think you mean the AY baggage calculator? I'm actually not sure Miss H would be entitled to a checked bag, going from Finnair baggage allowance page: While Finnair Plus Silver is listed, OW Ruby isn't (unlike Emerald and Sapphire).

    AY baggage with OW status

I believe the equivalent to QFF Silver is Finnair Plus Silver (which is also OW Ruby). I think the Oneworld website is incorrect when it lists 'Finnair Plus' as a tier - it's missing the 'Silver'. The base (ie. QFF Bronze equivalent) status tier is Basic, as shown in that drop-down list.

    Qantas Points Hacks Facebook Group

It's most definitely a group created by Qantas. Facebook lists the group administrator, and it's definitely the real, verified Qantas Facebook page. I don't think Qantas have an issue with people finding good deals to acquire points from third parties. After all, they're being paid for them.

    QF Preliminary Results FY17/18

This is good timing - will be there tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing what it's like.

Double Status Credit Offer, status retention query

It's also not possible to re-qualify without the required status credits. This offer is a solution for those who haven't met the normal criteria, and I'd have thought it was up to QFF to determine the criteria for it. They're hardly going to offer it to someone, and then if taken, refuse the...

    Perth terminal 1 Qantas Lounge

On the page for the lounge passes, it has this notice: This suggests there is some kind of issue with using a pass for this lounge in Perth. As far as using for EK flights, the important detail is booking on the QF flight number, it doesn't matter who sells you the ticket (QF will happily sell...

Banned from QF (for a few months)

How sure are you of this? My understanding is the operating carrier pays the lounge operator. But without being privy to the OW agreement, who knows...

    Qantas site a mess

Maybe I haven't looked for a while, but has anyone else noticed a new seat selection page in MMB? It seems to be a bit broken for a domestic 787 flight I have coming up. See the attached image... The little dots are selectable, with light grey for unavailable, grey for available and green for...

    SCs posting immediately?!

I've had them post for a domestic flight while I'm in the lounge - so the boarding pass has never even been scanned. It appears to not be tied to actually boarding a flight any longer, just being checked by the appropriate time.

It just started working for me too (but wasn't when you posted)

For the IT gurus [Network routing issue to AFF]

Trust me, it's not a DNS issue, an NBN issue, a firewall issue, or an Antivirus issue. Unless you want to have Aussie Broadband assign you a new IP, we all just have to wait for them to sort it out. To save more posts suggesting these as issues: DNS - I can ping from one Linux machines on one...

For the IT gurus [Network routing issue to AFF]

I notice it's now routing via telstra and comcast, but it looks like it's still not working. Perhaps it's being actively worked on though. What we can't see, and which is probably the issue, is the routing in the reverse direction. I could pass along a couple of relevant IPs to do a traceroute...

For the IT gurus [Network routing issue to AFF]

The issue is that packets aren't making it from the ISP to the AFF server and back. I've checked from two connections and the name resolves to the same IP on both but this IP is only reachable from one. My guess is there's something funny going on with this IP range of the ISP's routing...

For the IT gurus [Network routing issue to AFF]

I have the same issue, and am with the same ISP. Interestingly from another service on the same ISP in the same state it works ok, so I suspect it's a particular IP range whose routing isn't working. I'm going to raise a support ticket with ABB.

QF trialling two-factor authentication for QFF accounts

If you're referring to the 0 that shouldn't be there, I just tried on my account, it had the additional 0 there, but I got the SMS straight away. So that's not necessarily the issue.

    Monumental Stuff up by Qantas

Of course if Qantas said they would email the e-ticket within 30 minutes, and didn't, then whose fault is that? Sounds like Qantas didn't hold up their end of the bargain, even if it should have rang alarm bells for the OP if read carefully.

    Qantas site a mess

I've been waiting on a claim from an I2 from flight from September. The last time I rang them up to hassle them they said they can see the claim in the system and I just need to wait (that was after about 3 months). It's been over 6 months... guess I should call again.

    Qantas site a mess

That's the credit for it at the top of the screenshot isn't it? I had the same thing happen - no sign of my points after 4 days, put in a claim, 2 days later I got the credit and the error you got. It's a bit strange, but at least I got the credit. The error's date is the date I put the points...
