You are correct Bill, but we did come in on the tail end of bad management and strip the carcase of what was a world class airline. TN was also a great airline until QF took it over, when is when I got out of the business. How things have changed in the last 18 years! Regards.

I noticed Straitman that you once flew with Ansett. I have to confess that I was part of the aggressive TN sales team during the late 80s - early 90s that took most of Ansett's business customers away. In hindsight, we were too good. Losing Ansett was not a good thing for competition. Cheers!

Three dinners! On that note, I flew back from PNG last week. Both sectors were with Air Nuigini, and the catering was the best I have eaten in decades. I'm not sure whether it being a QF code shared flight had anything to do with it, but the food, and PNG coffee, was excellent. Well done PX!
