    Adding sectors can make sense for comfort, esp when the price doesn’t change much and if you get paid leave or are retired or similar situations where time is less valuable than money/comfort/whatever.

    This is pretty much completely incorrect for every Accor hotel. All other chains it may work fine but I have heard many stories of people being refused, or having to wait, etc at various Accor hotels in this situation. For Accor the best rule is the booking party must check in

    Yes and no. They often vpn home, and you have limited selection of local carrier. It’s not just the best carrier on the ground

    That’s not a problem limited to eSim. Physical can have the same issue. The problem is the sim carrier and whether it’s local vs roaming.
