Whats the best USA sim card deal at the moment?

If the $40/month you refer to is the similar to the $30 or $50 plan listed on the T-Mobile website then that would not suffice unfortunately. One of the main reasons for this trip is a trade show I attend, and I can easily burn through 2-3GB of data on those few days (uploading photos, showing...

Whats the best USA sim card deal at the moment?

AWESOME!!! Thank you for that, sounds like a perfect replacement for the GlobalGig wifi unit I have been using for the past year. Don't get me wrong, it did what it was meant to do, but an extra device, poor battery performance in the wifi unit, etc etc... Just swapping out SIM's is a lot...

Whats the best USA sim card deal at the moment?

Silly question, but couldn't really find my answer on the SimCorner or T-Mobile websites I have an unlocked iPhone5, so no issues with the hardware, I don't need my phone number as I only use my phone to call out from (aside from immediate family who will be travelling with me, so no need to...

    QF in LAX top 10

Interesting to note just how big AA will become once US Airways figures are pooled together (obviously some time down the track, but it will knock UA down to #2)

Best way to book an American Airlines (ex US) flight

I have made 12 bookings on the US AA website in the past month, using my Australian address and no issues. I do know from a friend who tried to book some flights before Christmas that he had issues using a Debit Card... Then used an Amex with no issues

Is 2 hours enough transit time at LAX?

Are you sure the connecting flight is from T3? If it is with AS it will be from T6 which adds to the lack of time issue a 2hr connection would provide (only a few minutes, but still, more time needed)

    Qantas Fleet

Just found this info: In winter it was a later departure and earlier arrival into SYD In Summer the flight got in at 22:35 Looking over some old notes I have, the 2004 flight was not the usual time, but I can't make out what it was meant to be (old itinerary and expense sheet).

    Qantas Fleet

Negative… It is only the small butt section as they used to tear off the main part and keep that at LAX. However, the oldest one (from October 2004) has 12:00pm hand written on it. From memory, I believe the flight normally left at 10:45 or 11:45, however in Summer I think it was later…...

    I just found 4 old boarding passes, QF8 LAX-SYD between 2004 and 2007

    Qantas Fleet

QF had for a very long time a day time flight from LAX to SYD, left mid to late morning, arrived SYD between 9-10pm. It was my favourite flight as the loadings were always lighter than the overnight flight. For some reason I think they used the same flight numbers that are now used for DFW...

    Jetstar 787 Roadshow

That was on the inaugural flight from MEL to OOL The pic of the seat was taken from the entry to the front galley The seat was comfortable, more down the line of QF Premium Economy rather than Business Plenty of legroom and the IFE screen was great

    November 2013

I have spoken to the lovely folk at the SYD FLounge, and we should be ok (based on capacity levels, and how crowded, or quiet the lounge is) It helps somewhat that the 28th is also my Birthday which they picked up on (I did not say anything, but from years gone past they usually print something...

JQ Classic Award Changes [up to 20% less points cost]

Yay for the forum search tool... I was looking for a HNL-SYD flight for my partner expecting it to be 36,000pts + taxes (approx $139) I kept seeing 28,800pts + taxes and thought WOW... my lucky day... I totally forgot about this change earlier in the year... Whilst it is not me flying, the...

How many AFFers will be on the first JQ787 commercial service MEL OOL Nov 13?

Prior to the flight up to OOL is everyone just going to congregate at the departure gate (I assume if there are any festivities that is where they will be) or hanging out in the Lounge... Actually, I never really thought about it, JQ fly from the same terminal right? lol... So used to T2 and T3...

How many AFFers will be on the first JQ787 commercial service MEL OOL Nov 13?

After a quick phone call, tomorrow mornings plans are back on track... QF413 SYD-MEL @ 7:45am was cancelled just after 8pm (I would say due to the light load and 3 other services just prior to, or after @ 7:00, 7:30, 8:00am). Given I have a preference for twin aisle aircraft I ruled the 738...

AA's Admirals Club 30-day Membership: QF lounge access?

Re: 30 Days Admirals Club Membership I am looking at getting my partner and mother a 30 day membership for an upcoming trip to the U.S. From everything I read, only 1 membership will be needed for them both to access SYD T3 QP, MEL T2 QP on there way to LAX, then a few domestic AA runs. (they...

Xmas Fesitivities 2013 (A non AFF event)

Unusual you can see it, as part of being deleted from a group removes being in the list of people who have confirmed. Either way, refund has been sorted, so it opens up a slot for somebody who perhaps missed out earlier on. Thanks Greggsy, it was something I was looking forward to, but them's...

Xmas Fesitivities 2013 (A non AFF event)

You will need access to the Facebook group where this was largely being organised from. Given the main organiser of the said event no longer participates on this forum, communication otherwise is a little difficult.
