Jeju Air Flight 2216 Crashes in South Korea

I only few Jeju Air 2 months ago, and would never have imagined that landing gear being stuck would happen to Jeju Air. Speaking of which, I haven't written up the review on Jeju Air yet ......

HSBC Premier credit card - too good to be true?

Well, a friend who had never used HSBC in Australia signed up last week on the HSBC AU web site while overseas, then had to do the mobile phone ID check (which was a PITA, too many fails). Account number was generated immediately, and they sent $9001 into their new HSBC account immediately. ATM...

I think you got mixed up between two different promos: the original post is Apple only and x20, but you are talking about this week which is Mastercard + Apple 2000 points flat

You should not enter a MasterCard or Visa direct into Sydney Water web site payment gateway, because they add 0.4% fee. You should pay via PayPal instead, which does not attract any credit card fee.

    The Stocard App

Both, but not able to share cards with others is the biggest disadvantage for me. I want a centralised location to store my cards, and to share them, everyone using the same one single source of truth.

The Dark side of Japan Tourism.

Well, this woman matched someone on Tinder, started buying crypto within one month, ANZ called her telling her she's being scammed, she still sent the money. After she got scammed all her money, no money left, she then went to take out a loan, and told the bank that it's for a holiday. Of course...

The Dark side of Japan Tourism.

The author made a good point, that this Australian was caught with 2 kilos, so the fact that she was convicted was inevitable, and lucky that she got 6 years, which is pretty normal for Asia. Lucky she wasn't caught in Laos on her way to Japan, or she would be facing a death sentence instead of...

Thoughts on a Ryanair like airline for Australia?

I think they create too many traps for passengers. One example is no combining checked bag allowance. If there were 2 people travelling together on Plus fare which includes 20kg checked allowance, it is 2 x 20 kg, you cannot have 1 bag of 25 kg, you would have to pay extra. easyjet doesn't...

Which Credit Card can you use at Australia Post?

Kinda same here, I'm using Sniip for this one only thing which I cannot find a workaround: strata. I'm using Coles / Woolworths mastercard gift cards to pay these via Sniip, as they could be bought when they are on weekly specials, while I earn AmEx Edge points which is good, and these cards...

Thoughts on a Ryanair like airline for Australia?

Ryan? No. Strict but different luggage allowance, flying to airports in a farm then the bus fare costs as much as the plane ticket. No to these. Too many traps. On the otherhand, yes to easyjet and Norwegian
