Yeah, I tried that but it blocked any further attempts. Funnily enough at the PO they did the same process and it seemed to go through. Have to wait for an email from Qantas telling me all is good then I can chase up a pin.

My Gold Qantas Cash card turned up today. No wallet to put it in :( Off to the Post Office, online verification failed!

Very nice. Reminds me of all my outlandings as a Hang Glider pilot. It always pays to be on the lookout for a landing spot.

Qantas Cash app is also live on iTunes store under Finance but you need an activated card to use it.

Get your hotel to show you the way to Akihabara. Massive number of electrical/electronic shops. Someone will have what you need. Take an "Aussie" plug/lead with you or at least a photo to help overcome any language problems.

Okay, I should have said I leave my glasses off for the take off until seat belt sign goes out and off for the landing until we at least exit the runway. Having glasses with you for an evac is very sensible:)

Same as our helicopter briefing. shoes on, glasses off(even sunglasses). Sit up straight, feet flat on floor. Seat belt tight. Carry nothing if there is an evacuation, the aircraft may not be orientated in the "normal" position.
