    QF network changes [744 PER/SYD & 330 PER/SIN]

EBG and L still show up on transcontinentals from time to time with the Skybeds. I think if anything these flights will be popular with young and old alike, just like people opting to fly the EK A380's in/out of PER over their 777's. It's actually really smart strategic planning by QF and...

    QF announce non-stop Perth-London B787 Services

I'm 6'1 and fairly solid, I'm also a hardworking regular Australian who doesn't have 100,000's points to upgrade to W or J class.Seat measurements don't mean anything to me either, it's all about real world comfort and ergonomics. The Y seat in the QF Dreamliner is an exceptional. I flew QF9...

ALL QF's 330's to get lay flat Business seating - Including Domestic

27J/224Y, if correct that's obviously -1 J seat (which we knew was going to make way for the extra lav) but surprise there is the removal of 19 Y seats compared to the current total of 243Y. At a guess one would have to assume these are having a proper crew rest facility installed and not just...

ALL QF's 330's to get lay flat Business seating - Including Domestic

What I don't understand about this whole refurb process is why EBG and EBL can't be reconfigured consecutively, meaning there will still be an orphan floating around the network causing grief and annoyance until April 2019. Is there a supply issue with the J suites maybe? Are the current Y...

ALL QF's 330's to get lay flat Business seating - Including Domestic

-EBS becomes the first A332 to undergo international refurb, with the extra toilet in J, have also read due to the galley changes there's a reduction in Y seating capacity, still yet too see the latest seat map. Possibly 27J/238Y. My sources are saying that once 2-3 A332's are converted to the...

Qantas WiFi (aka Qantas inflight Internet)

Does -XZB currently have wifi, saw a recent pic of her and from the angle of the image she doesn't appear to have the dome on the roof?

Qantas WiFi (aka Qantas inflight Internet)

Hopefully she'll emerge with some special decals like -XZB did. My sources are also saying that -EBB has undergone a heavy check whilst in BNE. Is she remaining a predominantly domestic aircraft or has she also undergone international refurb, with the addition of an extra loo in J and proper...

    Avoiding the Qantas 787

Will the QF Dreamliners operate with that feature which reduces cabin humidity? I believe JQ's don't fly with this feature enabled as it requires additional uplift of water thus increasing take off weights and costs.

    Qantas 737 Refurbishment tracker

Has anyone been able to ascertain which seats the BSI/Panasonic IFE aircraft are having fitted into row 30 yet now -VZX and -VZY have been done? Also is it safe to assume that during the refurbs row 30 gets fitted with an overhead PSU (air vents/reading lights etc) ?

    Qantas 737 Refurbishment tracker

Believe -VXB might be the second one to be reconfigured, it's been in the BNE hangars since 25/8. Looking forward to seeing some shots of the first one completed.

    Qantas 737 Refurbishment tracker

I can't recall where I read it originally it would of here been on here/yssy msg or maybe pprune (we frequent the same sites), it was quite an interesting thread as it went on to talk about some of the -VY* and earlier -VZ* series have a lower MTOW. Could of even been in one of those Australian...

    Qantas 737 Refurbishment tracker

Great work moa999. I seem to recall reading a while back that a 73H was being returned to the lessor, from memory it was one of the VY* birds, is this lease return still planned? The seats going into -VXR looked great, very stylish and modern from what I saw in a recent QF Newsroom release.

    A330 fleet expansion

Don't -QPA to C have Skybeds? I guarantee they do. if your referring to the first 4 x A330's QF received -EBA to D this is just a myth and nothing more Airbus never offered a lighter weight floor option. They're only 10yrs old, CX has some that are 21yrs old and still going strong. The A330/340...

    A330 fleet expansion

I was always under the understanding that -QPD onwards differed to the other 3, I remember -QPD arrived possibly after E as it was undergoing additional testing with Airbus but I vaguely recall it was brake related. Also other forums are reporting -EBE and -EBQ are in BNE being prepared for...
