If it is on a single ticket then no problem. HEL is a small airport. Depending on which countries you are travelling to and from you may need to clear immigration. If on a separate tickets it should be doable but isn't riskless. The airline won't be obliged to rebook you if you misconnect.

No the older config appears on jq nz domestic flights too. Row 2 has more legroom in the newer config than other non exit row seats, but thus doesn't apply to the older config.

The same issue arises on other domestic flights with 737 or a330.
