I got a bit of a stern “they’re only for children” yesterday. When I said it was for my daughter who hadn’t seen me for a few weeks, I sheepishly got a bag with a bear and a few other goodies delivered. Earlier in the flight, I’d seen the crew dragging a bag of them down the aisle.

It’s bizarre. I had this recently once and the call centre told me the only flights they could see were before my intl arrival… the bright sparks then tried to book those and it went as expected

I suspect the banks now aren't even trying to coverup the type of client they want. High income? Guaranteed full monthly payment? They’re not interested. Dropkick who will pay the minimum and drag on a debt for years? Come on down!

Banks do weird things. I got knocked back with this card (with a 300k salaried income from a major corporation) 🤷🏾‍♀️

I had the same schedule change. There was a big red “accept” button at the bottom of the “manage” page on the app. Make sure you click manage as it doesn’t appear on the app itinerary page. Try resending an eticket to yourself and checking if it reflects the new schedule.

Just in the lounge now. Nothing to get too excited about. Seems to be new carpet, same chairs with new upholstery and a new coffee station with a barista who needed to be called over. Buffet is the same, bathrooms haven’t been redone. Feels a little fresher but largely more of the same.

I’m doing this route next week. 6pm departure to SIN, hot turn and 6am arrival in JNB. Solves the QF problems.

This is Australia. How dare you ask a service staff member to do their job? You’re actually the problem for even wanting service.

I nearly did the same a year or so ago. Flight had no gate assigned and the lounge staff member in T3 said “we’ll make an announcement”. I check the screen 30 mins later and it says “final call”…. In T2. Fortunately made it. It has taught me to keep a closer eye on gates at Changi and not rely...

I’d hazard a guess it’ll open a lot earlier. I think the EK lounge opens at 4 so I’d assume the same.

BLR-SYD Forgot to take a photo on the way over. Prawn noodle salad was good, lamb not so good. Very heavy dish. Lamb was dry (which didn’t help). It was also initially described as the “veg paneer” when placed down which was quite the polar opposite. Skipped breakfast. Typical Qantas...

I don’t believe there’s even a P-KIM But there are always folk who believe Australia is the be all and end all 🙄. Which may explain why we are in the position we are.

We literally have an airline that took money from the taxpayer to “survive” (during a time when certain people thought moving within your own state was a capital offense), used it to expand into an entirely new type of operation, named an aircraft after the minister who was largely responsible...

Joys of Qantas, sadly. They are an absolutely awful company.

If you were flying a decent airline, it would be fine. For QF, not enough.

With Rex gone, we might have a better shot at that! I’m unaware of any other airline in the country that has registered an aeroplane with the initials of the transport minister.
